8 months old

• Still sleeps in bed with us, wakes every 2-3 hours to eat...still
• Takes 2-3 naps a day varying in length. Naps in his carseat or stroller
• Wears size 9 month, 6-12 month and 12 month clothes depending on what brand, age, ect
• Loves his pacifier (mam brand)
• Weighs approx 18.8lbs which is small for his age I think
• Loves baths and splashes
• Sits without falling and can move from sitting to tummy and tummy to sitting
• Crawls
• Pulls up to standing, can go back to sitting from standing
• Cruises along furniture
• Smiles with his whole face thru his eyes, mouth, cheeks
• Plays with toys and understands what they do. Understands cause and effect.
• Is very determined and is not easily distracted from whatever he is crawling towards and wont forget about an object when you take it away or hide it.
• Still nursing, eating some solids but not super interested. Still no formula. Still dairy free.
• Has 2 bottom teeth
• Cuddles and Hugs
• Looks for you when you leave the room, crawls toward where you went.
• Crawls toward you when in the same room
• Loves to be held, doesn't like to be alone. Will often cry when left alone while crawling toward you in the hopes that you will pick him up.
• Smiles almost all the time.
• Growls, coos, jabbers, sings
• Mimicks sound
• Giggles and laughs
• drools like crazy
• Puts everything in his mouth
• Has green/blue eyes, blondish brown hair
• Will cry hard but for a short time when he loses balance and bonks his head or other body part
• Has a very sweet disposition, love this little guy!!
• Nicknames - mop top, stink, little stink, stinkarink, stinky, little, mini boof, bear, toots (I swear, these are all loving, he doesn't smell bad...:)

7 Months Old

A month late...

• Still having issues sleeping. Wakes anywhere from every hour to every 3 hours. Has slept 4 continuous hours a handful of times- will sleep with us in bed very very close to me. 
• Takes a morning nap and 1-2 afternoon naps each day and they vary in length and what time - I am not strict with timing of naps but I ensure that he gets at least 2 - will nap in his stroller or carseat
• Wears 6 month clothes and some 9 month onsies
• Sits unassisted
• Gets in a crawling position and rocks back and forth
• Reaches for toys from a crawling position
• Can get into a bear crawl position
• Swims on the floor in an attempt to go places
• Has eaten rice cereal, peas, green beans, peaches, blueberries, carrots
• Smiles almost all the time with a smile that lights up his whole face
• Picks up, inspects and plays with toys and household items
• Cries when hungry, when tired and when he has gas
• Loves to swim, loves baths - splashes, kicks, licks the water
• Still spitting up
• Still exclusively breastfed with 1-3 solid food meals in addition
• Stands holding your hands or an object
• Babbles including Bababa, wawawa
• Has 2 bottom center teeth
• Rolling very well from back to front and front to back
• Aware of people and will stare at them
• Puts everything in his mouth
• Can find his paci and put it in his mouth and sometimes sucks on his thumb
• Wearing his cloth diapers on medium setting with 4 snaps inbetween
